- Installing all new breakers matched to wire gauge
- Replacing the panel box and safely removing the old one
- Adding new bus and grounding bars
- Installing (2) 8-foot ground rods per NEC Article 250 (if required)
- Bonding ground rods to the main service panel and water main
- Grounding the water heater per NEC 250.50
- Labeling all breakers and circuits
- Coordinating inspection, meter release, and reconnection to the city grid
- Installing whole-house surge protection
